I've worked at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory for a number of years, principally in the Advanced Computing for Science Department. My work-related interests are in the areas of Web services and scientific visualization. My best known project is the Virtual Frog Dissection Kit.
Outside of work, my primary interests are tai chi, piano playing, hiking, and temporal aspects of cognition, including their implications for extended concepts of mind.
I can be reached at my first name plus the last two portions of the domain name.
